You can put your cursor on the '"a'" in anonymous" and delete it by using the "delete" key on your keyboard.
You can then type in your own name and click on "change". A message will appear on the screen that you have changed your name and that new name will be used to preface each message you post in the chat room.
To "chat", just type a message in the "message" box and then click on "submit." Your message will appear on the screen and anyone who is in the chat will also see it on their computer monitor and can respond to it.
